There I was editing & uploading the past few days photos to this gallery, when into my office inched a sad little fella. He doesn't have a scooter anymore, it broke a couple of days ago, so now he's reduced to this.

I completely understand! It is a fantastic image overall and I look forward to seeing more! I've added your site to my blogroll on my blog: http://www.aristoncollanderphotography.com/blog.

Thanks Ariston much appreciated. I could up the blues more, but I'm happy to leave the image pretty well as I shot it. I've bumped up the contrast quite a bit via curves (which I usually do) and cropped it. I did also make his eyes blue again... upping the contrast turned them almost black.

It's funny only a few people on earth know what colour those wheels are.. and I often make massive changes to images, but this one shot in my home... I have a great deal of resistance to making it unrealistic.

Love the composition and the expression. Great colors as well. Very well done. Increasing saturation in the blue channel might make the wheels pop a bit more.
